B-11

Maybe, all of you know that tomorrow (30.10) the B-11 season starts.

Info there isn't fully new, there are many A-11 schedules and also there are many mistakes. For example, they deleted ITU "ATN" and all broadcasts from Bonaire wrote under ITU "HOL". Also there is schedule of new station from Madagascar (built by KNLS), but this station is to open in Feb-Mar 2012. So, be careful using this schedule!

Reminder: do not forget to push your clock an hour earlier (if your country has summer/winter times).

Some bad news: today there were last broadcasts from tx sites Sines (POR), Trincomalee (CLN), Rampisham (G) and Mon Agel (MCO). (info from Alexander Diadischev from open-dx yg)

I hope in B-11 wouldn't be so many closures of radio stations and transmitter sites...

So, I wish you a good season, lot of DX and lot of QSLs!

Radio Caroline International plans broadcast from southeast part of Poland on Friday, 28 October at 20:00 UTC. Also on Saturday at probably 19:00 UTC. Frequency would be 6375 or 6550 kHz. Power - 100 Watts output. Time of transmission - 2 hours in Friday and 3 hours in Saturday!

Some problems with propagation on 6 MHz at 18:00-19:30

Radio Okapi changed realy site

CONGO (non). R. Okapi noted with good signal and full ID on new 
11675kHz in French from tune-in at 1613 on 23 October. Not listed in 
either AOKI or EiBi, but HFCC has a Babcock entry showing a broadcast 
via Al-Dhabbiya from 1600-1700 since 1 Oct.

Here is only a short log for today. Today I made some experiments with antennas in daytime, and during them I received stations like WWCR 15825, HCJB Australia 15340, T8WH 9930 and other far stations with a good audibility. But I had not time to make any notes about them.

1440 - RTL, *02:59 callsign., ID of unknown relay, hten 3-minutes info (news?) and then music. *02:30 start of religious relay. SINPO 44433

Tonight I'd also received Cancao Nova on 9675 at 00:27 UTC, but with bad signal - 25442. All stations from America were bad audible tonight, except 6090 Caribbean Beacon. Even Brasil Central had very weak signal.
